“Education is teaching our children to desire the right things.” Plato
Inasmuch as Chrysostom Classical Academy delivers a rigorous education we also insist on celebration days that educate and encourage play. In and out of the classroom there are times devoted to teaching our students to love what is true, good, and beautiful. We model this through school-wide activities and smaller celebrations within the classroom. Whether it’s an all school Heroes of the Faith Day, Evening Recitations, Grandparents’ Day, a 1st grade feast, 2nd grade Greek Olympics, 6th grade Victorian party, or a Logic School field trip to study rocks and fault lines, our teachers are celebrating alongside our students, modeling a right desire for the true, good, and beautiful.
