Our Curriculum
Rooted in Truth. Rich in Content. Ordered for Growth.
At Chrysostom Classical Academy, the curriculum lives in our teachers, who are equipped with excellent resources. Teachers inspire students to grow in wisdom, think critically, and see all their studies through the lens of Scripture.
A Living, Classical Curriculum
Our curriculum is not driven by trends or test scores alone; the wisdom of generations past shapes it. We teach time-tested subjects that nourish the heart and mind, inspiring students to wonder, question, and delight in truth.
What We Teach.
Bible & Theology: From storytelling and Scripture in the early grades to deeper reflection and respectful dialogue in later years, students are formed by daily encounters with God’s Word, anchored in truth, shaped by grace, and guided toward unity.
Students master the hard skill subjects: math, Latin, and grammar
Teachers as the Curriculum: Our teachers guide, model, and mentor students, embodying the heart of classical education.

Mathematics: Strong foundations in arithmetic and problem-solving, leading to higher-level reasoning.
Science: Students delight in hands-on exploration of God’s creation, including life, earth, physical, and biological sciences.
Music & Arts: Hymn singing, choir, art projects, and exposure to great works of music and applied art.
A Joyful, Orderly Atmosphere
How We Teach
Lessons are thoughtfully designed around each child’s readiness and capacity to learn, rich in memorization and recitation in the younger years, then growing into logical thinking and analysis, discussion, and clear expression as students mature. Small class sizes ensure every child is known, loved, and guided each day.
